Directions for Industrial Use
- Treat surfaces to be bonded by generously spraying with LOCTITE SF 7061.
- Wipe surfaces while still wet with a clean, lint-free cloth to remove all heavy contamination. If necessary, spray surfaces again to allow run-off of the product.
- Spray surfaces again, preferably with surfaces in a vertical position to allow run-off of the cleaner.
- Allow LOCTITE SF 7061 to fully evaporate from parts prior to bonding to completely avoid solvent entrapment within the bond joint.
- Apply the appropriate adhesive immediately after drying and assemble the bond.
Handling & Storage Precautions
This cleaner must be handled in a manner applicable to highly flammable materials and in compliance with relevant local regulations. Special care must be taken to avoid contact of the product or its vapor with naked flames or any non-flameproofed electrical equipment. The solvent can affect certain plastics or coatings; always perform a compatibility test on test surfaces before full-scale commercial application. Do not return any used or run-off material to the original container to avoid cross-contamination.
