Simple Application Instructions
- Clean: For best results, clean all surfaces (external and internal) with a LOCTITE® cleaning solvent and allow to dry. *(If the material is an inactive metal or the cure speed is too slow, spray all threads with primer and allow to dry).*
- Apply: To prevent clogging, do not let the nozzle tip touch metal. For Thru Holes, apply several drops onto the bolt at the nut engagement area. For Blind Holes, apply several drops down the internal threads to the bottom of the hole. For Sealing, apply a 360° bead to the leading threads of the male fitting (leaving the first thread free) and force it into the threads; apply a 360° bead to female threads as well for larger voids.
- Assemble: Assemble and tighten the parts as required. The formula will begin curing once confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces.
