Simple Application Instructions

1. Clean: For optimal results, clean all internal and external surfaces with a LOCTITE® cleaning solvent and let dry.
2. Apply: For thru holes, apply several drops onto the bolt at the nut engagement area. For blind holes, apply down the internal threads to the bottom of the hole. For sealing, apply a 360° bead to the leading threads of the male fitting, leaving the first thread free.
3. Assemble: Assemble and tighten the parts as required. The formula will begin curing once confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces. If the material is an inactive metal or cure speed is too slow, apply Activator 7649™ or 7471™ prior to assembly.
