Simple Application Instructions

1. Clean: For optimal results, clean all internal and external surfaces with a LOCTITE® cleaning solvent and let dry. If the material is an inactive metal or cure speed is too slow, spray all threads with Activator 7471™ or 7649™ and allow to dry.
2. Apply: Shake the product thoroughly. For thru holes, apply several drops to the bolt at the nut engagement area. For blind holes, apply several drops down the internal threads to the bottom of the hole. For sealing, apply a 360° bead to the leading male threads, leaving the first thread free.
3. Assemble: Assemble and tighten the parts as required. The formula will begin curing once confined between closely fitting metal surfaces in the absence of air.
