Superlube Vs WD-40

Superlube Vs WD-40

WD-40 sprays and other aerosols lack anti-friction qualities. Because the spray wets the surface and then immediately evaporates, squeaks are only momentarily silenced. These sprays work well to unfreeze frozen nuts and bolts but are ineffective at lubricating.

Super Lube® Multi-Purpose Synthetic Lubricant Aerosol is a fully rated bearing grease that has been momentarily diluted with a solvent carrier. The solvent carrier cleans and penetrates, totally evaporates, and leaves behind a layer of grease that offers long-lasting lubrication and corrosion protection. The aerosolized version of Super Lube® works wonders as a chain and open gear lubricant. Additionally, it will defrost frozen nuts and bolts.

It can endure temperatures between -43°C and 450°C (-45°F to 232°F). The NSF-registered Super Lube® Multi-Purpose Synthetic Lubricant with Syncolon® (PTFE) is rated H1 for incidental food contact and complies with USDA 1998 H1 standards. Kosher certification is available for Super Lube® Multi-Purpose Synthetic Lubricant with Syncolon® (PTFE).
