Simple Application Instructions

1. Clean: For optimal results, clean all internal and external surfaces with a LOCTITE® cleaning solvent and allow to dry. If the material is an inactive metal or the cure speed is too slow, spray all threads with Activator 7471™ or 7649™ and allow to dry.
2. Apply: Shake the product thoroughly before use. To prevent clogging, do not let the nozzle tip touch metal. For Thru Holes, apply several drops onto the bolt at the nut engagement area. For Blind Holes, apply several drops down the internal threads to the bottom of the hole. For Sealing, apply a 360° bead to the leading male threads, leaving the first thread free, and force the material into the threads.
3. Assemble: Assemble and tighten the parts as required. The formula will begin curing once it is confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces.
